How the Consultation Process Works
After reviewing the nature of your consultation, we may ask you to provide relevant documents in advance, such as tax returns and information relating to financial assets.
Depending on the matter, we will review and analyze the relevant materials before the online meeting. During the meeting, we will explain key tax considerations, potential issues, and any steps or procedures that may be required going forward.
If your matter is complex or requires detailed tax calculations, scenario comparisons, or simulations involving multiple alternatives, we will advise you of the scope of work and fees in advance.
Fees
Tax consultation fees are determined individually based on the nature and complexity of the matter, the amount of documentation requiring advance review, the research and analysis needed, and the length of the online meeting.
Please first provide us with an overview of your consultation. After reviewing the information and determining the necessary documents and scope of work, we will provide you with the proposed consultation scope and fee.
Depending on the nature of the engagement, the fee may include advance document review and analysis, as well as preparation of materials for the meeting. If additional work is required, such as detailed tax calculations, simulations comparing multiple alternatives, or preparation of a written individualized plan, we will provide the additional scope of work and fees in advance.
Important Information
Our tax consultation is based on the information and documents provided by the client.
Because tax treatment may vary depending on applicable tax law and each client’s individual circumstances, we do not guarantee any particular tax result or tax savings.
Tax return preparation, detailed tax calculations, preparation of a written individualized plan, and ongoing questions or follow-up after the meeting may not be included in the consultation fee. If additional work is required, we will advise you in advance.
